Grain Producers Australia applauds the Minister for Agriculture and Water Resources, Barnaby Joyce, and staff within the Department of Agriculture and Water Resources for the common sense approach that seems to have prevailed in relation to new fees and levies for plant export certification, including the Minister’s announcement that an independent review will examine the certification and inspection costs associated with the revised system of fees and charges.
