Keeping travelling workers safe is important to the agricultural sector. For this reason, Western Australian farm training and recruitment agency 2 Workin Oz recently chose to partner with GPA Training to deliver vital safety and fire-preparedness training to 26 harvest trainees.

 

“Pairing the GPA induction with our hands on practical training, provides confidence that we are improving safety outcomes across the industry for employees and employers. Our employer network is aware of the program we are using, and we encourage them to look at using it more widely in their own businesses,” said Ms Ley Webster, Owner of 2 Workin Oz.

The online training platform offers different training courses specifically developed by growers and experienced industry professional to meet the needs of farmers and their businesses. For a small annual fee, businesses can access a variety of industry-specific training courses all-year round.
