GRAIN growers in Western Australia are invited to enjoy a relaxed vibe at the Grains Research and Development Corporation (GRDC) ‘Summer Sesh’ forums next week, featuring cricketing legend Brad Hogg.
The forums will be held in Mandurah, Bremer Bay and Dunsborough on 18, 19 and 20 January.
Hosted as part of the GRDC's National Grower Network (NGN), these events are an opportunity to catch up with other growers and grains industry representatives, enjoy complimentary food and refreshments and raise ideas about opportunities and constraints relevant to the industry.
At Bremer Bay and Dunsborough, attendees will hear from Australian cricketing legend Brad Hogg, who will share his personal story and messages about the importance of mental health and suicide prevention, as the inaugural ambassador of the Grain Producers Australia (GPA) Farmer Mates Mental Health Initiative.
