Farm owners and managers are invited to participate in an industry survey looking into the use and understanding autonomous farm machinery.
The Grain Producers Australia survey forms a part of the joint program with the Tractor and Machinery Association of Australia and the Society of Precision Agriculture Australia.
The three groups are committed to guiding the safe and effective adoption of autonomous farm machinery in Australia.
GPA Research Development and Extension spokesperson Andrew Weidemann said the project had forged work in developing a code of practice for adoption, from owners to operators, and now the work had moved towards understanding and use.
