Rainfall and improved grain prices are giving farmers optimism as many start sowing for 2024.
Grain Producers Australia Southern Region Director Andrew Weidemann spoke to The Weekly Times following some promising rain events at his property in Rupanyup in Victoria.
He said some moisture at this time and promising price indications boded well so far for farmers who might have grain to sell or could lock in prices ahead of time.
