Some of Australia's most promising and innovating farmers were recognised at The Weekly Times Coles Farmer of the Years awards gala ceremony in Melbourne on February 21.
Among the cream of the crop was Grain Producers Australia Director and Western Australian grain producer Duncan Young who took out the Cropping category.
The Overall Farmer of the Year title was awarded to South Australia's Altmann family of Dakara Farms near Murray Bridge.
The Weekly Times Coles Farmer of the Year Awards are in their 13th year, and were presented by Victorian Senator Raff Ciccone and Olympian Giaan Rooney.
